Thor

God of Thunder - scandinavia

Giant Germanic and Nordic mythologies, Thor was the eldest son of Odin, ruler of the gods, and Jord, the earth goddess. This is the storm god, fighting and battling against all sorts of monsters, he is portrayed with a crown, a long beard and a hammer in his hand. Thor was the strongest of the Primal Gods of Nordic theology (called the Aesir), the main gods, he helped protect from their enemies, the giants. He had a magic hammer (the Mjollnir), which launched with gloves of iron, triggered lightning, and always returned to him. The thunder was supposed to be the sound of the wheels of his chariot drawn by goats.
